Margaret Harbison, MD

Medical Director

Graduating with a Psychology Degree from Georgetown University, Dr. Harbison began her career as Residential Director of St. Mary’s, a residential facility for abused and neglected children/adolescents. 

Dr. Harbison then returned to The Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her residency at The Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital, where she was named Chief Resident.

Dr. Harbison has served as a consultant to The Renfrew Center, an eating disorder and women’s mental health facility.

In addition she has served as Medical Director of a Partial Hospital Program at Hall Mercer/Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Harbison is a Board Certified Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychology and Neurology.

As a psychiatrist, Dr. Harbison continues to possess an immense respect for individual therapy/counseling as well as the biological aspect of mental health – embracing a holistic approach.
